I have been a teacher for over 17 years and have held several roles which have allowed me to develop as a subject specialist and as a leader. I was a subject leader of Religious Education for six years and am currently a Leader of Learning with a responsibility for PSHCE and the development of learning habits across the curriculum (aka The Arthur Terry Learner). I have led a research project for the National College and have been involved in providing training sessions for PGCE students at Birmingham University, the Arthur Terry SCITT programme, NQT+1 programme and other schools. I am passionate about the development of learning habits across the curriculum and also have a keen interest in teaching and learning generally but particularly in Religious Education. In my spare time I am also completing a PhD in Education with a focus on existential thinking and learning habits in religious education.
