The boys played four matches, the first was against Wheelers Lane school a much bigger side coached by Moseley rugby club no less, it was an extremely hard fought match with Arthur Terry coming out victors 15 – 0. The next match was against the mighty Lordswood Boys school who also fielded some huge players, but just like in David and Goliath Arthur Terry emerged the victors 30 – 10. The third game was against our local rivals Bishop Walsh who we put to the sword 30 – 0. By the time of our fourth and final match it was really only going to go one way we played Baverstock and our superior rugby skills more than showed through coming out on top 25 – 0 making us the tournament champions. The teams behaviour on and off the pitch was exemplary and we as a school can be extremely proud of them all.
