Birmingham University EPQ masterclasses!

Twenty-four Arthur Terry sixth formers have participated in two EPQ skills masterclasses at Birmingham University’s new library on Wednesday 7th and 14th December. The first workshop focussed on time management, referencing, avoiding plagiarism and structuring an academic piece of writing whilst the second masterclass examined effective note taking, focussed internet search tools such as Google scholar, critical thinking and appraisal of bias across a range of web based sources. Arthur Terry students from both years 12 and 13 can now look forward to accessing the physical catalogues at this world class facility up to ten times during their EPQ investigations.
