Celebrating Outstanding Education

MP Andrew Mitchell celebrates outstanding education across partner schools Respected multi-academy trust, the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership, has welcomed MP Andrew Mitchell to its outstanding Arthur Terry School. The MP for Sutton Coldfield visited the school to officially meet the ATLP’s interim chief executive officer, Sally Taylor. Experienced education leader, Sally, is the former director of education and commissioning for Birmingham City Council and former assistant director for education for Oxfordshire County Council. She works closely with other senior leaders from the ATLP’s seven schools to provide outstanding education to all 4,500 students. Andrew Mitchell said: “It’s a pleasure to officially welcome Sally to the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership. We share a commitment to providing our communities with the best life chances. The ATLP is a beacon of excellence: it has set the standard for what we can achieve for children everywhere and, under Sally’s guidance, the partnership and our young people will continue to flourish. “I’m proud of the long association I have, both with and the ATLP and the schools in my constituency, and I look forward to working with Sally and the team to ensure we continue to serve our communities.” Mr Mitchell was also joined by the ATLP trust board’s Tim Sewell and Alan Wharton, member, along with Richard Gill, headteacher of the Arthur Terry School.
