There has been a great improvement over the last term and most of our students are looking very smart and are dressed in line with the School Uniform Policy. Sixth Form Students are reminded to follow the Sixth Form Dress Code as outlined in the student planner and on the school website. We are concerned with the winter weather approaching at the number of students wearing black fabric shoes. In wet weather these offer no protection and are not suitable school wear. Please ensure that black leather type shoes suitable for school are worn. If we experience the severe weather conditions of last year we will do our best to keep school open. Should the school be closed the decision will be communicated on the school web-site as soon as practical, through listening to a local radio station such as Radio WM and a text message will be sent to parents. Please enforce with your child the need to be sensible with snow if it occurs to ensure the safety of those in our local community.Year 10 Work ExperienceDeadline for finding a placement is Friday 16th December 2011.
