Arthur Terry School named top comprehensive in Birmingham for fourth year running. The Arthur Terry School has once again been named Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield’s top performing mixed comprehensive school for GCSE results – for the fourth consecutive year. The Department for Education’s official school and college performance tables – which are published annually – show that an impressive 78 per cent of students achieved the “gold standard” grades A*- C in English and Maths GCSES at the Arthur Terry School Joint headteachers, Richard Gill and Neil Warner, said these results reflect the outstanding level of teaching and learning at the school. “This is a fantastic achievement yet again, which demonstrates our consistently high performance year after year. Our results are even more impressive when you consider just how many good comprehensive schools there are in Birmingham. This success is a real testament to the collective hard work, commitment and support of our students, parents, staff and governors.” The Arthur Terry School is a centre of excellence. Graded as Outstanding by Ofsted in both the 11-16 and 16-19 phase. Arthur Terry is one of the first 100 teaching schools in the country and one of only two newly accredited School Based Teacher Training Providers nationally.
