Headteachers Richard Gill and Neil Warner collect sponsor money raised during this year’s fun run

On Sunday November 30th members of Staff from school attended the Annual Great Midlands Fun Run presentation at Duke Street Chapel.. The event, organised by a previous Head Boy, Tracy Spare, celebrated the achievements of all the runners who took part in this year’s event and in particular the huge sums of money raised for local charities. Arthur Terry students raised £2000. This is in fact a fantastic achievement when put alongside the other thousands of pounds that school has raised for charity this year. The money will be split between three charities with every single penny going to good causes outside of school. These are Rondevlei Primary School in South Africa, Teenage Cancer Trust and Cancer Research. Neil Warner and Richard Gill are pictured collecting the cheques. A fantastic amount of £345,022.00 was raised in total at this year’s event. Arthur Terry are hoping to enter another big team in next year’s event on May 31st 2015.
