Sixth formers meet Police Chief Constable!

Two Arthur Terry sixth formers, Alayna Mustafa and Richard Brierwood, both with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the police service, spent the evening of Tuesday 19th October in the company of West Midlands Police Chief Constable, Dave Thompson. Meeting at the ‘Tally-Ho’ police headquarters in Edgbaston, the two students were active participants in the ‘Fairness in Policing’ youth consultation event with schools and sixth form colleges from across the region represented. As well as taking part in mock scenarios, the students were able to network with police dog handlers, fire-arm officers and take part in traffic officer simulations. Although unable to attend on the 19th, two further AT sixth formers, Chanay Knight and Nina Lelidou also participated in an earlier preparatory event at Tally-Ho last month.
