On Friday 17th March, Arthur Terry’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Club visited the Big Bang Fair. The KS3 students spent the day at the NEC, Birmingham meeting scientists, finding out about a solar powered car and those who were brave enough held exotic insects! Students were brilliant ambassadors for the School and impressed staff with their politeness and enthusiasm. They were all keen to take part in challenges put on by the STEM based organisations and enjoyed a show hosted by CBBC presenter Stefan Gates, including a video of the inside of his digestive system! A fun day had by all and students are already looking forward to next year!
