2017 – 2018
We are delighted to announce yet another year of extremely pleasing A-Level examination results with almost half of our examination entries being achieved at A*, A or B grade – a significant increase on last year’s results. In fact, results have improved across all measures which means that students this year have achieved our best set of A-Level results ever.
Headteacher Neil Warner said ‘These outstanding results represent what can be achieved when all members of the school community work together to encourage and support our young people. We are fortunate to have such an amazing group of year 13 students who have worked extremely hard to gain the results that they truly deserve.’
These impressive results have been achieved across a wide range of subjects at a time when students and teachers are facing the challenge of addressing further changes to the examination system. We are pleased that these results will enable our students to move onto their next life stage successfully, with the vast majority of our students accessing University. A list of notable achievements is provided below:
We wish all our departing students the very best for the future and eagerly anticipate hearing news of their future successes. We hope they will stay in touch and we look forward to the new academic year and our current students rising to the challenge that this year’s students have set.
